@celltech: That's one awesome pda/phone combo... Is the Jasjar really that big? I've seen picture comparisons with the 9500 and it's size I thought was reasonable.
Oh, how I wish.

@amawanqa, glad to hear that, that speed sounds brilliant! @celltech, that's a beautiful device you have there. I've had the opportunity to handle one for a few hours, so i'm rather envious

As for the size, any it's certainly not that big, in fact it's ideal for those of us with larger hands. As any hooker worth her corner spot will tell you, "Baby, size ain't sheeit"

@brix, its sure is a cool handset, as I mentioned previously the size isn't a problem its the weight which I'm getting used to.
by the way I have the nokia 9300i, looks much better than the 9300 because of the colour which is similar to the 9500.
brix when are you visiting Egoli again, as I have something for you to check out, hope its soon.

@Celltech
Not only are those two brilliant devices you have there, bud, but what's gratifying is to see you've got Esato up and running

@celltech: Don't know when I'll be in the Big Smoke again...I go there on very short notice.
What's different on the 9300i?

@ celltech,
Wow, how on Earth did you get your mitts on a 9300i?
I see it also has a different colour casing,a (Jas-Jar-matching..) graphite/ anthracite/ gun metal colour rather than the 9300's silver....hmm,then that's two things Nokia have changed on the 9300!!!
Seriously though, it seems the lack of wi-fi was the only major gripe with 9300 owners.
One just wonders why they didn't do this in the first place, unless it's some kind of marketing strategy of keeping sales in that market segment up with continuous, gradual evolutions of existing handsets, rather than major quantum leaps forward each time.
I couldn't find it on Nokia's official site or gsmarena or even trying a search engine or two! You must have some really good connections, boet.

I think celltech is a beta tester for MTN.
The Brix-ster might end up buying a new phone today...just looking through the paper for bargains...will be heading over to Game later on today to see what they've got.
Or I might pop into Vodacare and have the firmware on my phone updated.

@ brixster,
Has your precious been given a reprieve with a firmware injection or did you take the plunge and buy something else?
