the left ear got broken last month....

1.yes the markings can be done overnight if you wanna have some business out of it...
2.but then again, the employee ( carlos )who received the unit had a good look since they changed their procedure in accepting their units for repair ( they now check if the unit has defect or scratches or whatsover )

- @ jepaz and 619....

"yes you saw my unit but have you tried using the pda? coz carlos used my pda... and its very impossible not to see the marked done by the keypads!!!"

pls hear our case

SMARTNET:
the allegations that smartnet are telling me is that the markings cant be done overnight

CASSANOVA
*** but the fact that mr carlos insua saw the tiny and not visible scratch on the side of the faceplate means that he is very careful in receiving the unit brought for service for the protection of their company and client as well
***if carlos used my pda (WHICH HE DID!!!). i dont think he will missed a mark on my lcd!!!
***like jepaz said " the marked is obvious on

" 4. The said markings are only obvious with the OK, 1, 4, 7, * keys. It seems that the markings were the result of the broken left ear of the flip and created blot on the LCD"
--- and yes this markings were the result of the broken left ear of the flip. but i brought my unit for upgrade why tell me that my keypad needs replacement and because the technician had a hard time pressing the command OF THE KEYPAD!!! and not because of the broken left ear!!!

pls see this thread

if were going to use the pda or phone your P800 or my P900, i wont be writing on that (left) part of the LCD, ill be writing at the middle part..

that "butas" cant be easily noticed if the unit is turned ON.

and, how did the "ear" got broken?

1.the reason on how the left ear got broke doesnt got to do with the fact that mr insua received my unit in good condition

2.per gowin, smartnet changed their procedure on accepting unit for repair or upgrade after the incident on his phone.

3.yes if u will use the pda u will use the center part of the lcd, but then again its impossible not to see the marks on my lcd.

4.you are not an employee of smartnet so the way you checked my unit is not the same as the way they scrutinize it

5.the technician reported that the keypad need replacement kc " DI DAW AGAD MA PRESS ANG MGA KEYS"

6.this is not the first time that smartnet did this. they did it with gowin and chris725 and mfb

7.there is something wrong their procedure and something must be done.

8.perhaps D.T.I. or S.E.C. will do!!!

1. asking how the ear got broken.. im just curious.
3. well, when its ON, you wont see it right away... i dont use my pda when my unit is OFF.
4. when they check your unit, is the unit ON or OFF?
6. before you conclude what happened to gowin, mfb or chris's unit.. (and compare)......u shld confirm w/ them first.

btw, this is not a complain board.. you shld have talked to them personally

i was just trying to help.. but you saw it differently...

From what I've read, the proximate cause of that "butas" is the result of regular excess pressure due to the broken keypad ear. Carlos Insua may have overlooked that detail, but nevertheless based on a technical standpoint, such "butas" may not be inflicted on the PDA over one night. I presume you place your P800 inside your pocket.

Moreover, if you have a serious complaint about the service of Smartnet, then file a complaint with the proper authorities. Don't just scandalize your issues over a public forum. It might just get you into deeper legal entanglements.

with over 1 year of Smartnet servicing my P800, i've never had any problems with anything whatsoever. since my T68 days, they've always done a good job.
