@ SPU
regarding the bug ... i am not manual focusing. also i thought -0.3 is zoom and +0.3 is EV setting while in supermode? so if you enter supermode, set to +0.3 and adjust zoom keys so it is at 1.4 (which is adjusting EV), leaving all other settings at default (no zooming) and then take a pic, it will take a zoomed pic instead.
"I'll add this as an option when AE lock is enabled."
- can you add AE lock to shutter button in addition to existing AE lock, ie >
"Why don't you like macro button?"
- for 2 reasons. 1. because it is extra button push. macro (zoom), manual focus, macro (unzoom) then shutter to snap pic. whereas in Krio driver - shutter (zoom), manual focus, shutter to snap pic. 2. in Krio's driver, when zoomed in to object, exposure can be locked with shutter button, then picture taken. in your driver once macro is pushed to unzoom before taking pic, exposure changes and the exposure that was set (when zoomed) is lost. the only way to lock the exposure when zoomed is to use >
"Do you know the corresponding value? May be this is a bug in firmware, like a similar bug with some shutter speed values."
- no sorry i dont.
"There are some limitations on ISO and shutter speed combinations."
- i understand. so is there any way to take night pics with low iso setting? maybe i haven't tried all combinations of iso, shutter and EV settings

You are right =) Zoom - EV -0.3.
I found the bug =) I forgot to remove a part of testing code =)
"can you add AE lock to shutter button in addition to existing AE lock"
I'll think of it...
"i hope all of this makes sense as it is a bit complicated to explain"
All this things reduces flexibility of the driver. You can not take a manual focus shots with manual zoom. And as fo me... i don't like zoom when manual focus at the infinity (i don't need zoom in this case) and i don't like AE lock in most cases (even in macro).
"maybe i haven't tried all combinations of iso, shutter and EV settings"
One tip

EV just alternates the ISO.

After reading this thread I havenīt found a solution for my problem: I have unbranded my new Vodafone K750i CID49 with R1DB001 ... Everything wnet fine, but my pictures are not very fine and have a yellow/green "touch". Also they are much darker than those taken with my old K750i.
I am sorry, but I have lost my original camera driver while testing some others. Could you give me a hint where to find an older original ore the original driver???
THX &best regards,
Randolph

my internet is really slow, and it would take a while to load all the pics.. can you give me a summary of your findings on what the overall best driver is for w810i?
