ey dan here are the results of my bandwidth test...
Communications --- 12.7 kilobits per second
Storage ---- 1.5 kilobytes per second
1MB file download ---- 11 minutes
*The time it would take me to download a 1 megabyte file at this speed.

rak.. mine has improved to 16kbps.. 9% of 27mb pa lang. 4hrs.!!! it slowed down, around 11am it was fast...

im in no need pa naman sa cable e since free pa gprs dun muna ko kumukuha ng mga backgrounds,etc.. pag nagsimula na magcharge dats the time i'll get a cable...hehe.

@rac ... the biggest concern of imac users is compatibility. although meron na mang softwareto convert and make it compatible with a ms os, it is still not the same. softwares are limited unlike that of ms that is abundant at marami sa greenhills!
you'll be forced to buy the original thing which is kinda cool dahil puro licensed yung softwares mo pero it burns hole in your pocket. limited ka rin sa suppliers ng imac, meaning goodbye to generic devices (swerte mo kung supported na rin nila and imac).
but according to benchmarking industries, imac (at least the new one) really is fast. the os, mac os x, is linux based. it has a flat plasma TFT LCD monitor. di ba maganda! very revolutiionary design. the review for ipod, the portable audio device of imac, was really good. bestinf nomad and even sony's network walkman.
well...... it really is upto your use and connectivity.......
btw, may software ba anf
for imac?
