Looks like Milo from the Mask! Cool dog!
Here's a shot of a coconut from about 5 kilometers away with a telescope of course
And here are a few not-so-good shots of the moon.
The K700 obviously normalizes the levels in the pics which I think isn't too helpful in getting the details right in these types of images.

@marlonski - good set of pics again from your last two posts! you've taken pics of many places, some exotic, but the most evocative are still those of your beautiful home and family - that hairy dog, your fireplace, the group shots
@thewhizz cool dog !
@Blackspot, clever pictures dude !
@chili, nice of you to say so mate
These were taken late sunday afternoon.

@blackspot, nice. I was wondering when you'd get that telescope? (http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=95313&start=15#post1315032)
Yeah, we can't really get around the K700i limitations, but not many people can boast taking such a detailed pic of the moon with the handset on it's own. Atleast not until the next moon shot!!
@Chili, you sure can shoot.. more excellent thought provoking black and white shots. Nice nice.
@marlonski, agree whole heartedly with chili.. like that panorama group shot - very evocative (to use chili's word). I've only used the panorama for scenery but that is sure a good way to capture group activity.

@max_wedge, yup, i got myself a Newtonian -- it's not a really big one and uses non-standard eyepieces (0.96") but the price wasn't so bad and the quality is OK.

I'm now thinking of replacing the eyepiece holder/focuser with a standard 1.25" so I can use eyepieces with wider openings and hopefully get wider views.
I'm just waiting for clearer skies so I can get pics of nebulae and hopefully nearby planets.
