also, my k800i has dust under the screen at the left lower side

I can confirm that R1JG001 for unbranded K800i is available in Sweden since yesterday via SEUS and FOTA.

I can too. Tried it yesterday night. I really like how it now doesn't hang when previewing large high quality videos. Now it's just as smooth the small 3gp clips. The phone may be faster too. It could be my imagination though.

R1JG001 is awesome. That's all. And it may be the final firmware before K810i is released at stores. Ah, what a long journey to get a better phone. Updates, bugs, improvements and enthusiasm to get newer firmwares--all has been here in this very thread.
BTW, anyone knows how's mwarner--the OP--now? He's been away for months and leaving the 1st post unrevised..

Am thinking of upgrading but not sure of the difference I will see. Am on original 1st release UK f/w. Also is there any way of updating on a Mac?

You should defenitely upgrade your firmware. They have added a few new features as well as made it faster and ironed out most of the bugs. Don't know if there is any SEUS client for Mac though. You can always take it to a SE service center if there isn't.

No way at all of upgrading on a Mac unless you have an Intel-Mac, and are using Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion. I have done the upgrade for my SE, and my Nokia and encountered no problems at all. Your only option is the local SE Svc Ctr.
By the way, I am moving away from SE because they said they have no plans to support the Mac platform. Nokia on the other hand does support Mac in most things and will have a syncing client coming soon.
