Nice to know they realized that FPS is too low, cam too.
On Compact is better.
Hope they bring both speakers with same design.
Spek, please remind them ppl need XPERIA KEYBOARD and SCREEN RECORDING back.
It should never have been taken away.

Oh ya, speaking of Xperia keyboard, do you guys have problems of it not learning the new word you typed although auto learn has been enabled? I was using Chinese T9 keypad and typing English but it did not learn the new English words... If not for this handicap or glitch it is a very good and satisfactory keyboard .

A larger version of XZ2 if u stare at the back only....They havent change the back much...still very much alike XZ2

Thanks spektykles, do you know if the XZ2P will also easily "spin around" when putting on the table, if the back is exactly the same but just a bigger version of XZ2? I'm quite keen to know if they may fix this unhandy downside of the nice new design~

I think we can rest assured that will be dealt with. The XZ2c doesn't really share that issue.

hmmm, maybe because XZ2 is glass, while XZ2 Compact is using plastic? I do hope it will be dealt with...
btw is XZ2P using 4K screen or 1080P? I forgot~~

Personally, I always felt that the Premium phones should encompass all of the best features of all the phones that year. For example, the XA2 Ultra has a great front facing camera setup with OIS and front facing flash, that should be in the Premium. Any feature that's the best in class on any Sony phone that year should find its way to the Premium. I can't really understand why they would't do that. Some of the previous XA Ultra phones have loudspeakers that get far louder than the XZ2, even with a single speaker. Why not figure out a way to use 2 of those in a Premium model?
I'm fine with Sony having a flagship to compete with the others, but the Premium should dial everything up to 11 and then some. I love my XZ Premium, but I'm still baffled when I see that Sony has some better features that they'll put on the mid rangers that don't make their way to the ultra high end flagship.

I agree, Premium should have the selfie of Ultra.
Actually the XA1+ was the loudest so far, kinda more than necessary.
But Sony says XZ2 is the loudest ever.
Looks like to be hard to keep great quality if you use too much loudness.
Other phones with bottom speaker are louder, but not that good.
U11 is not stereo, it is a trick only. One example of loud speakers.
EDIT: Android Marvel has an article about the tablets, they believe they are real and run Chrome OS.

technically speaking, The adapter MUST has DAC inside because phone send digital data through USB and convert to analog (sound wave) using DAC then passing it to headphones/headsets.
But if the staff meant that there is no premium grade DAC inside, maybe true.
