Guys and gals, Opera has finally permanently removed all ads and banners from its free browser. Plus, there are plenty of cool themes to customise it.
If you use Opera, go download the update at
www.opera.com. If you dont use Opera, take a look. You might like what you see.
NB: Opera is one of the very few browsers that are also WAP-compatible i.e. you can actually browse regular WAP pages on your PC.

@angel: I have never had cause to use it, so I am not sure what could be responsible for the error message.

For those still using internet Explorer, have you ever attempted downloading a 19.9mb file and there was a brief interruption at 16mb?

Quite frustrating! Opera has a built-in download manager that has a Pause/Resume function. Great for picking up from the point of interuption. You can also actually turn off your PC, and the next time you boot, you can resume your download from where you were before the last shutdown.
Try that on IE. Besides, I got a nasty dose of the vulnerability of IE recently. A trojan horse got in my system and attached itself to IE itself!

Mamba i open the webviewer if i want to visit an url, but i thot both applications work hand in hand. For yahoo messenger it opens and asks for my id and password, after that u see a download bar that completes 100% and stays at "net communication in progress..."
