@manish dont you have entrance exams in your place? We have 2 in karnataka: CET and COMED-K. In CET they consider your average performance in CET and 12(50% each) and in COMED-K they take only your comedk score.
I got 64.8 in 12th. I could choose colleges in both cet and comedk. I prefered the latter as i could select a college near my place. The fee for everyone getting admitted thru comedk is 85k flat + some 9k odd for admission and stuff. But in the college i chose its 17k. And No donation or anything...

@niru ya we had gujcet. and i scored 40/119 in it.
i gave MH-CET and got 76/200(34000 merit list no lol) in that. i think i am not good enough in giving entrance exams.
as my merit no was far behind other students, i was not able to get admission in mahashtra colleges.
so had to go by the NRI admission procedure.
i got 69% in my 12th board exams though.
poor luck man.
