Much as i appreciate your work guys, there has to be a certain LIMIT upto where we can tweak the phone, the excess of which might affect its durability and functionality. Otherwise why would SE hire highly-experienced ENGINEERS and pay a $30k per month salary just for a quiet MEDIA PLAYER/WALKMAN or a cam that doesn't seem to click the right shots. I'am sure what our experts here at Esato discovered have long been encountered by the SE Team ages ago and came up with a solution that would cater to all and also not affect the framework of the handset.Or did they not see the pot-holes at all???
But the above comments apart, am still using our experts' Cam and Sound driver...LoL...
No Offence...!!! Chillz

@Born
Well, its something like this. People do overclock their CPU's everywhere. It finally boils down to if you want to extract the best from your hardware. Manufacturers always keep a margin just their hardware is stable for the general population. There are some takers for overclocking of microprocessors and some don't go for it. The same would hold true here. For example, compression settings for the K750/W800 modded camera drivers has been raised to 93% from the original 85% and still maintains stability. Personally I don't mind jacking the compression settings still higher compensating some stability for the sake of clarity. I have put 100% compression settings in fine mode and the regular 93% in normal mode
All the modded drivers in this thread offer different flavours of how the drivers could be tweaked. People just need to try it out to see which suits them the best.
And thank Darkmen for the far manager. Without it none of this would be possible

I "think" best if you want loud without distortions @ max vol on speakers,use the farfield_play.apf from w810i....
Coz i tried yours and it distorts @max vol on speakers...
juz my 2cents,btw yours are GOOD enuff,vol can be slowed down,i can adapt to that...
e_erzan , where did you find the farfield_play.apf from w810i? I already read through 20+ pages of this thread (believe me, I did) and didn't find it. Care to share with us? I'd like a loud loudspeaker....

Oh, thanks so much, e_erzan!!
I will try it later. I think I started to get obsessed in modding the phone (I have connected to FAR for more than 20 times just today). I have to hold back a little, otherwise, I think I will destroy the phone by constantly turning it on and off.
