Ok here's for ppl who think that the contact deleting is a bug or problem...
If u open a contact and then delete it, it does not ask for confirmation; however if that was done by mistake u can easily press the contacts tab (when in contact list view) and choose 'undo delete'. This will restore the contact back. This is there in all P series, hence not a bug.
However if u r in list view and mark (or highlight) a contact and then try to delete, it will ask for confirmation.

Has anyone else tried to move their Quickoffice spreadsheets across from P910i to P990i ?
The spreadsheets which were working fine on my old phone aren't being opened on the P990i ...I get an error message telling me to download a plugin...the there is No such plugin on the QuickOffice website and am still waiting for a response from them...

As a work round can't you transfer them back to the PC and convert back to Office docs than just add them again to the P990?

Looks like I will be doing that tomorow - I run off a Mac ( iBook G4 ) at home. MacOffice, although compatible with MS Office, doesn't support the QuickOffice docs it seems ...
So I'll cart the stuff to work on a flash disk tomorrow and do the workaround there.
( * Thinks *...maybe I should consider a Macbook, and run Bootcamp off it. Nothing SE offers for P990i works with a Mac ! )

i have used a 2mp photo for contacts several times.. and my phone does not play assigned ringtone in cradle.. but otherwise always.. and tried to open cam and close it in a conversation took 2sec and phone was back on track.. i also use r7 and cda r3b..

Can anyone help me clear it please?
