I'm wondering since the top part of the D-pad will be the select option, hw do we scroll up the menu?

How's the maximum transfer rate of the HSDPA?
3.6, 2.7 or 1.8Mbps (like Z750i)?

Wow Video uploading to Blogs?! Also with H.264 support (Pure Quality)!

Thank you SE for giving us time to upgrade, and NOT making my new K790a obsolete! I love my K790a and will KEEP it, even get a back up secondary as well - like others still keep getting K750i, I'll be on the K790a for QUITE some time. But I'm buying this K790a first production run!

For the guys out there that have bonafide ladies at their side for life that also like SE phones: get them a digital camera, then they'll just need a fashion phone; this way the K850 is all open season lol.

the top part of the d-pad is still underneath the middle soft key
you scroll up by pressing up the d-pad
they might look close in pictures, but it's hardly mistaken on actual usage

They've added a lot of useful things for a non smartphone without the hassle of installing it. I like that they have added Activesync Exchange support for push email if I read it correctly. Document viewer would have been a nice finishing touch.

But I don't like that they removed the music button, that's an important feature. I hope the volume keys still work as skip forward/back track when you hold it down.

30 fps, QVGA, AAC audio codec.. 4 seconds and only 224kb????
What a shame!

With some calculation with Samsung phones recorded videos (15fps, QVGA, AAC audio codec, 4 secs, 470kb), I assume K850i only records 1/4 of Samsung video recording bitrate. Which means.. only around 220kbps!

We don't know in what conditions was it made. If it was recorded in poor conditions than the bitrate will be small as for example if it would be recorded in dark room without much light. Lets talk about quality when we see the video and not before when only thing we've got is statistics written on paper.

Yes, you're right. The lighting conditions determine a LOT actually.
Let's hope for some great one. Coz W900i video isn't too good in bitrate. But W900i use AMR audio codec anyway.

K850i use AAC. Hope the bitrate also improves.
I really hope to see much better camcorder in this SE.

If I'm thinking right the video that we've seen in the preview made by xumdeo is the one we've seen those statistics and as far as I've seen that video was made indoor with poor lightning conditions but I haven't seen any glitches and believe I have good eye for those things so I think that the final video quality should be on par with samsung ones.
