@fizzil, the post above yours will play avi files on the w960i without doubt, don't see what all the fuss is about really regarding media playback!! As the Mp4 videos i have watched are 30fps TV quality and Loud as hell. This phone is amazing to watch videos on as this is one thing i do most, the screen is huge and speakers brilliant, surely divx/avi/xvid/mpeg files will play with relevant software if you install it, this device is a video machine and yes folks 8gb is almost full
