No, I thought I had to find the files in blob_fs and copy your files across before updating it? The furthest I have got is where it asks me to re-insert the battery and hold down the C/back button on the phone, but is this not where your files would be installed?

SEUS says my phone has the latest software, anyway.

@5H4K,fortissimo: Like mentioned above, "repair/update anyway" the program will say your phone is up-to-date but you want it to update anyway/repair, during this progres the current firmware is downloaded, and if you follow all steps it will install the same fw on your phone that you currently have, it's only after this you will have the temp-files and are abel to overwrite them with your own newer fw files. next step is that you will have to do the update process again, choosing to repair/update anyway again. it can't be done in one turn.

it's all explained in the first post. i followed it and succes the first time.

Note: if you are updating to X10i Generic NCB (R1FA016) you will have to run the update once again to get the new R1FB001, so in total you will have to update/install your x10i 3 TIMES

I wasn't allowed a fourth posting the other day

Everything worked out great.

I rebooted Windows into safe mode (found that one somewhere else) and PC Companion runned perfectly.
Only step 4 was a little bit 'panic'. After 10 seconds the phone wouldn't start. It finally worked after a longer time.

Maybe you can mention to reboot Windows into safe mode when having problems with PC Companion?

Hey, I'm a new here..
I am from Bulgaria and want to ask you which from the posted firmwares I should use to debrand my X10i? And if I use the UK version, will I have my BG language (and input keyb.) after debranding?
My phone is branded to M-tel Bulgaria Thanks in advance...

Best regards, Vassil! : )
