^^^ I stand corrected. I've read some complaints about the auto brightness option on the NEO. People are getting annoyed by it. How come SE doesn't enable that option for all its devices post the 2.3.4?

I just realised after reading Samboukas post on 6 days battery life. You said it included 24 hours of wi fi?? Impossible to use wi fi for 24 hours and get 6 days battery life.

Auto brightness will never be an option for the Ray because it doesn't have a light sensor.

If you're talking about an ambient light sensor, you're wrong. Xperia ray has ambient light sensor.

^^^ This is confusing. When I looked at one of the pictures of XPERIA Ray in Phone Arena there seems to be a small circle located on top of the display to the right. Also, if you look it up the at the official website of SE, it is listed as one of the features.

ray DOES HAVE light sensor: it is shown on the user manual indeed. BUT ray doesn't use it for automatic brightness adjustment (don't know why... maybe a bug... somebody with the just released 2.3.4 should tell us if they fixed this issue)

Have played once again today with a Ray in O2 store. I really wanted to like it but it is just so underwhelming
Feels so light like a toy & the only nice thing is the screen which is not a good reason to buy a device.
Still,at least it is better than the Alcatel next to it
