Odin is only for a select few markets, Yuga is the global model. That's the only reason behind picking Yuga. Just like T and TX. You can't choose, just pick the one your region will get.

I was going to get the TL but decided to wait for the Q1/Q2 phone(s). I sure hope that the 5" screen won`t make the Yuga to large.

@Randomuser 6.156 Million units...
And thank U for your info abt Crystal LED TVs from Sony... OMG it's gonna be the future tech... I watched the videos and it was marvelous & awesome... That made me hope that Sony will come to top again in TV business next year...
2013 gonna be so much win for Sony in both Mobile & TV business...

The great part is CLED seems to be a superior display tech compared to current OLED displays from the user perspective, it is likely easier to service since it's made up of smaller segments rather than one giant screen, thus saving them money, and it's apparently cheaper than OLED to produce right now, since rumoured pricing is nearly half of equivelant sized OLEDs!

The only thing I'm wondering about is how quickly they'll ramp it up to 4k resolutions. In theory they could take the screen parts they use for a 55" display, use 4x the amount and produce a 110" 4k TV! The only thing is how would that mesh with the current pricing they have on their 84" 4K TV? The damned thing costs $25,000!

And on XBlog they had stated that Sony is working to make the phone very slim like 8mm or even less than that... Do you think if Sony will be able to put the rumored 2500-2800mAH battery in that much slimmer phone...???

Oooh, I hadn't heard about the rumours of a battery that size. Did I miss something in this thread, or is there another source for that?

I've read abt those 84" 4k TVs from Sony & LG... But sadly Sony's one costs $25,000 & LG's jus $19,000 or something... So if Sony manages to produce a 110" 4k CLED TV for a much less price, it'll steal the glory from LG... Also LG's comin up with 4mm thin 55" OLED TV without bezel(hope U already know abt it) & it looked stunning & it costs around $8,000... Do you think CLED can compete with that...??? In terms of price, Sony will break it... But I haven't seen anyone compare CLED & OLED TVs by keeping them side by side... That's Y i'm askin... Apart from all those performances by CLED, I also heard a guy say it consumes much less power than OLED... It consumes 70 watts, that is, it consumes less power than a light bulb... Now that's a remarkable one...

We don't know if CLED will be able to beat OLED for absolute thinness of the TV, but considering there is no backlight like OLED, the bezel could be just as thin. I suppose it's just a matter of how Sony decides to design it.

As for comparisons, we will have to wait for direct comparisons, but I have read a couple of forum posts from people who say they saw both units at CES and apparently the motion on the CLED TV is absolutely amazing and better than the LG OLED (that person did not compare it to Samsungs). Colour accuracy and viewing angle are supposedly superior on CLED and black levels are supposed to be equal. I suppose the only other things to consider are response time and additional features they'll put into the TV

IIRC, the concept unit at CES only consumed about 70w, so a final unit might consume even less.

As long as Sony is superior in all those vital things like color accuracy, viewing angles, motion & power consumption and also priced as half as other brands, we've a clear winner here... Hope SONY will bounce back to top in TV & mobile division in 2013... Let's keep our fingers crossed... And Thank U for infos...

Some more details and good news for Sony.

LG and Samsung put OLED TVs on hold http://www.whathifi.com/news/lg-and-samsung-put-oled-tvs-on-hold

-Contrast ratios are difficult to measure but Sony claims that photopic contrast (contrast measured under well lit conditions) is 3.5 times better than traditional and current LED backlit LCD TV panels.

-The 1.4 times better wide color gamut specification alludes to the benefits of being able to see more colors from the TV.

-But the biggest and badest specification difference in this display is the response time for video image processing. Sony claims that this Crystal LED TV is 10 times faster than what's out there right now. If that is true, there will be no motion lag, or jerky judder artifacts to speak of as well as incredible sports image processing.

Well according to rumours the CLED sets are supposedly only gonna be $4000 (unlikely to be honest, more like $6000-8000 at best) which would significantly undercut the monstrously expensive OLEDS.
