The posts are not opposite.
He says about cam sample.
Mine's about final score changed.

It is weird to me when xz2 with all design issues have better score.
Also suspect they were not able to do screen measurements with creator mode turned on.

The review of midranges were more honest.
No excuse to take away points like 1.
Look at few of the cons:

1) no AF for UWA (never pointed as con for LG phones), since UWA are made cfor landscapes there is no reason to have AF because everything will be in focus.
2) no wifi 6 ( not pointed as con for OP7)
3) no night mode ( despite these modes making very artificial photos and phone is able to use 30s shutter)
4) no jack was not con against iphone xs max

Like I said, if you think s10+ is better I dont see problem. For many the jack and Qi are important, also better 4K EIS. There are things X1 is better at.

But Mi9 that does not have even QHD, no sd slot, no stereo, no jack too, no IP rating, no wifi 6 too, notched screen, no gg6 on rear panel, usb 2 instead of 3.1 ,one of the highest SAR , less than 4.000 sunlight ratio even with oled has same score of X1?

lol. calm down PPL.

No need to get nasty.

This guy is just a cocky arrogant who visits the topics of Sony phones just to provoke those who like the brand.
All he says is to belittle anything that speaks well of Sony phones.
It's just a b-hurted who feels superior with this childish sarcasm.
He never adds anything positive to any discussion here, he's always bothering.

First impressions are very positive. The phone is just as wide as my XZs so it's been very easy to get used to it. Screen is stunning, phone is very responsive. So far photos look good. No freezes or restarts. Much louder speakers and finally a good speakerphone experience. My biggest gripe with Sony phones has always been subpar speakerphone and no group messaging in the SMS app but at least speaker issue is addressed. Still need to use textra since group messaging is still missing. Battery life is good so far still had 50% last night.

Speaker beside usb allows higher volume.
I think it must have something to do with space.
For example those phones with mono shstem are extremely loud.

First days with Xperia 1!
Battery is suprisingly good! (had 07:48 SOT with intensive use)
System is buttery smooth, reception signal is better than XZ2 on 4G+, call quality is superb and I can't stop looking at this gorgeous screen! Everyone who looked at them was amazed!
It's almost hypnotic!

I think, battery performance shouldn't be a surprise since Sony is well known about it strong battery optimization. I've never had any issue with Sony's battery.

and buttery smooth performance is also another strong point of Sony. As far as I know, Sony is good at their software optimization.
