Hi guys,

1) Does anybody know how to get access to the mobile tv from Proximus with a P990i ? I didn't buy from the Proximus collection.

2) when going on internet with my phone, it still connects via GPRS and I thought 3G would be automatically used instead.
What's the meaning of the 3G apart mobile tv and vision calls ? Isn't it supposed to provide high speed internet or did I miss something ?

Thanks,

You have to go to the Vodaphone Live! portal. But even there, apparently only selected phones can access Mobile TV. I don't see it with my z610 on the Voda home page.
But I can use 3G. I have to go to settings/connectivity/mobile network/GSM-3G networks and select to use GSM and 3G. Don't know what the equivalent is for a P990.

mobistar will outsource its IT management to ericsson.
ericsson has a contract for 5years and takes over the excisting mobistar workers. it was a race between ericsson and alcatel-lucent.
things will start in Q2 07

Ericsson has also a contract with base, and recently signed a contract to provide proximus with their mobile TV technology, making it possible to change channel as fast as a normal TV (meaning, its time to zap), work begings in the 2nd half of 07.

They're very good indeed Jim, but that bast**d of seller has found another way to piss me off : he reported to ebay that I've never paid my due and left me a negative feedback. I sent an email to ebay and gave them the Paypal file number (Paypal is from the Ebay group) explaining that after have lost the case at the other side the guy now tries to ruin my image on Ebay. I'm waiting for them to delete that negative feedback.

Some people are really crazy, just unbelievable !!!

Yeah ebay is good but the feedback can be abused.

Btw how much shipping did you pay? I want to buy something oversea but the shipping cost waymore than the item itself and I hesitate.
