@jn: we'll have a spa bath in the ensuite
@woot: while that would make me feel better, unfortunately it wouldn't get the house built any quicker

I'm positive that it wouldnt speed up the building process mate.
But it might make u feel better about the whole ordeal when one of the workers starts screaming when he has crap all over his behind, covering his overalls. Workers running around, like chooks with their heads chopped off it brilliant. worked wonders for me, when they waws building me extendable games room.
Lol.
Hows Melbourne these days. And to think that i was the only aussie on esato. GO THE PERTHIANS!!!
- woot signing off...

the builder tried the money raising stunt again by offering to install conduit for our phone connection (at a price), but on closer inspection it seems like something we'll probably need so telstra don't rip us off so hard later when they install the cable. if there's a nice shiney conduit they won't have to dig up our front yard.
HOWEVER - only yesterday we discovered that it was already included in the contract. a phone call later and all was solved but i'm starting to get a little pissed off

@davo: the problem isn't so much the company itself, since most people we have dealt with there are reasonable. it's just one individual who can't or won't get her shit in a pile that is causing us this grief. there were perhaps only two issues which couldn't be directly attributed to her, and only one of those actually caused any significant delay.
the big advantage these guys have is that they will let my father-in-law do the bricklaying, which will give us someone on site for most of the project keeping an eye on things. i'm prepared to wear some administrative f**k-ups if it means we can still get a superior finished product.
@jn: i'm familiar with that one too. maybe i should ask my wife for one

Gelfen, tell em to get stuffed.
Lol, like the rest of my ideas, it wouldnt be incredibly productive, but make you feel better as a person. hahaha! Personal productivity, isa the only way that one can make themself feel better.
You know what i reckon...Get a mobile home. like them ones that you find them yokel ppls living in, in america. They're a crack up. You have to make sure that you knock ur wife's 2 front teeth out tho, and u have to drink beer all day long, quoting things like,
"Hey ma, get off the damn roof"... and
"Johnny, don't touch your sister like that"
FUNNY!
Sorry for the incesant amount of cr*p information that i seem to be sending to you Gelfen. My mind is twisted, and im not sure i'm coping with the lack of sleep that i seem to be getting. Or not getting. Which ever it is....
Woot out. Going to Infinity and beyond...
(ill be back tomorrow.)
