Hi all,
Just an announcement. Droll and I have decided that SMan v1.4 will be the last, final version. Developing SMan costs time and money which we cannot afford anymore. Making SMan freeware doesn't exactly generate much revenue. Thanks to all who had contributed.
Regards,
ajack
Sorry to hear that - you have done a great job with Sman!
Does this mean that the Sman v1.4 beta is no longer a beta...?¿? Or is there a newer version (such as v1.4 a, b, or c etc.) ?

Ok guys, I confess... it's was an April Fool's joke. I can assure you that if we wanted to say anything and be taken seriously, it won't happen on 1-Apr.
But, we will be slowing down SMan development a bit. This is because, SMan is getting more complicated and we are starting to integrate different modules together and testing hasn't been easy. Considering it's freeware, we do have other more important priorities to consider as well. There is something else coming out from us but that will be a Sony Ericsson only feature.
@~lozishere~:
Having more RAM only allows more applications to run at the same time. If you still do not manage the application processes with SMan's Task Manager, there is still potential for battery drain and other complications.

Why shouldn't Sman development be stopped? I can honestly say I never really touch it anymore on my P910i as there is enough RAM in it to mean I never close applications anymore.
Told you it was an April Fool - Nya nya

@frontman, if your beta has expired you don't have the most recent release. The most recent one does not expire until the end of the month as far as I know. Look wherever you got the one you have for beta 8.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I have Sman 1.4 beta 8 and when i choose the reboot option, my p800 shows the "triangle of death" so i have to press the power button for 10 secconds. Is that supposed to happen?

this is the right place to post that, and no, it is not supposed to happen. The reboot option has been grayed out on P910 because it is slow and unstable. It is faster and easier to power the phone on and off.
