Thanks for releasing map packs for free -- most less, shall i say, friendly, developers would attempt to cash in on them. I think that you are definately known as a "good" developer, in that you don't screw your customer out of every last penny (think
microsoft).
Anyways, big thank you, the Soldier Ants game is a nice showcase for the P910i!.

btw. mappack4 is istalled over the mappack3 (impossible to have the two packs istalled at the same time)

Ooops! To fix this:
Download the map pack (again) from my website
uninstall the mappack 4 from your phone (if it is installed)
install the new version
Then everything will be fine. I'd not noticed that as I rarely have more than 1 map pack on my phone at a time. I still use a tiny 16mb memory stick and there just isnt room for lots of things at once.

I love the game already. Since I am not near my computer or syncstation I had to download Zipper just to install it. I'm horrible at it though. I hope the full version has a difficulty setting though. I'll buy the full version as soon as I am back at my computer in a few days.
Now all I need is a friend that has a P series so we can play over bluetooth.

Yeah a difficulty setting would be good. I like the game but getting beaten about 70% of the time takes the shine off it.

I can make another difficulty mode which is easier than easy. I had not realised that folk were finding it too hard.
For now you could play with a team of 5 ants against a team of 4 ants. That would tip the balance in your favour.

That would help as would reducing their propensity to use their cluster bombs with devastating accuracy!
BTW, how about selecting ants by pointing as well as or instead of the cycle-through icons.

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with the ant selection method. If you have to 'click' on the ant, you might not realise you have an extra one hiding in a corner somewhere.
One thing that I've always found odd, though, is with cluster bombs: when you aim, the arrow size doesn't appear to have any effect on the speed of fire. It always fires at full speed, so you have to aim almost directly up to hit things that aren't vary far away. Is there a reason for this that I don't get? I would prefer to be able to shoot more slowly at a shallower angle - the clusters should still release at the missile's highest point (but of course the lower this point is, the less the spread of clusters when they reach the ground).
What do people think of this suggestion?
