This is definitely going to be my next phone.

Good, you can sell me your S700i then !

Since viewing everyone elses pictures from the S700i ive gone totally mad wanting a megapixel phone. Dont get me wrong, i love my K700i to bits and would hate to part with it so soon, and i like the image quality..

But id love to have the S700i, even though its uglier IMO than the K700i. Thats why im looking forward to the V800 so much more because its so much better looking than the S700i, has a better photo light and PRO duo support.

But, like i already mentioned, im worried about the size of the phone, and why SE didnt make the screen 240x320 like the S700i.

Well I've just had one in my hand about an hour ago (an S700 that is) and the size really isn't bad at all.

as for why the screen isn't bigger........well that the same resolution the phone would have to be bigger and at the same physical size I dare say the difference won't be terribly noticeable anyway.

Im talking about the V800's screen an size.

Its a large phone by the looks of it, and even though the screen might be the same size as the S700's, it has lower resolution. Taken from the SE site:

Screen resolution
S700 = 240x320
V800 = 176x220

Size
S700 = 107.5 x 49 x 24.5 mm
V800 = 102 x 49 x 23.6 mm

It would appear the V800 is smaller in almost every respect than the S700i. Thats one nice suprise.

yea... as for wat Vlam says... the S700 is at an acceptable size.. Thus V800 will be +/- same... only that V800 is much thinner.. making it more friendly to our hands.. one thing tho.. once flip open.. is goin to be longer than an open S700 .. like the Z1010. Just imagine, two S700 ontop on one another.. thats roughly the size once V800 is flip open....

I dont believe it ! i just realised SE left out the FM radio !

Whats wrong with them ? why cant they just put everything we're used to and expect as standard in new handsets ?!

Yep and that sucks very much.
I think Sony Ericsson underestamate the radio funcion very much or a radio reciever would make V800 abit bigger.
Some people may think, radio is just crap when you have expandable memory and MP3-player but radio is really an underestameted function.
