And I welcome you too. Btw what reason do you mean? College keeps me too busy to check the calendar and we get 2 to 3 season's worth of weather everyday.

The SP5m is a very good and nice phone
the design and the material is better than the SP3
the keypad is very good and its click is nice
the total performance is totally better that before
every thing is faster than the sp3 the sound quality is better also the speaker is better and better
the battery life around 3 hours talking time which make a day and half with my too much phone calls and 2 or 3 times e-mail checking
the wifi antenna is better than PDA2K
I have Wifi at home and I tested the 2 devices while the PDA2K lost the signal the sp5m still working and connected
the display brightness is very good and the screen is very clear and readable
the camera is good but still mobile camera
the ring tones support the mp3 now
the new 4 keys (internet explorer and 3 for media player) is a good idea but some times I click the internet explorer key instead of dialing
I think after 10 days of using it I'm totally satisfied
in general I'm a very bad technical writer so it's better that you ask and I will answer
I already got the K-Jam and return it back after 1 day
It is very slow device and the screen is smaller than I need but the good thing is the screen resolution and the wifi but in general it is a good phone and bad PDA
The screen font is small and in my opinion its better to get the SP5m and the PDA2K than the k-jam
I make a decision to use the SP5m and the PDA2K for the moment because also the JasJar is very big for me

Thanks a million omardeneo for your very detailed and helpful reply.
One very important aspect of the SP5 that I need you to tell me about omardeneo is its performance and functionality as a regular phone. For instance did you have trouble setting it up in terms of GPRS, MMS, and EDGE?
I don’t know how things are where you come from, but where I come from technical support is almost inexistent and you have to do everything by yourself.
Did you by any chance happen to find an online source for setting up the phone?
Also did you happen to see and use the SP5 (not the musical edition) and if you did how does it compare to the SP5m?
U also said that you're heavy call maker and with that kind of usage the phone lasts 1.5 days. How long do these calls take in total duration? coz I'm a heavy calls maker myself.
And also how does GPRS usage affect the battery coz I use a lso of GPRS and IM too.

Nice to know you got here safely, but I think you're not the third Egyptian here but you're in the first ten. I don't know what has been troubling you about the w550 but boy I know I wish I had one. I think you said themes and Esato is probably the best place for that and you'll probably find a thread where you can request themes too. Or even better find out how to make themes yourself if that's a thing you would like to do.

Welcome to esato tayam
www.mobile9.com is another good source for themes, videos, tones, etc that I've been using with my K7. They also provide wap links to this stuff that you can use for downloading directly to your phone. Enjoy your phone!

@tayam
I have a feeling that you haven’t received the GPRS setup messages for your handsets from your operator yet. If not, call customer services and ask them to send you these messages. You can also do it through the online service provided by
www.sonyericsson.com, there’s a tool that’ll help you do it.

@tayam
The W550 comes with an html browser and if its not on the phone then it should be on the CD, but your browsning will be through GPRS. You say you univercity provides free connection to the internet but that is most likely through wifi which the W550 doesn't have.
