hey guys,
after all this 23 pages and one DaVinci credit, I sucessfully debranded my K750i vodafone Germany.
Here my log and the new CDA infos:

I payed my log and have tried to download the files to flash my K750i for two days and canīt connect to the fpt. And my mail to the Davinciteam are unanswered - the money is gone from my account but as for now it feels like I donīt get value for the money. Are it always this troublesome ?

If you look on the "Latest News" page on the davici web site it does say that the FTP is down and provides a link to the K750i files ONLY ....

@jojofr: No...changing IMEI number is illegal, thats the hardware serial number of the phone...
@admad: This entire thread plus the other "K750i Firmware Overview" thread discusses this subject (nothing else practically)
Also read the info on davinci website...its not hard

But, how many log accounts it will take to change language? Because i can pay in service 7 euro to get wanted language and its more sure:/. It's free with DaVinci to change language ?

With one credit you can reflash the firmware and change the CDA. You can find credits for davinci for 5 euros if you search around.
i was a bit dubious initially as I figured anyone could set up a web site claiming to sell davinci credits and then not send you anything after you had paid.

I am trying to connect to the FTP but always get an error - it starts connecting and then says connected and some seconds later says error connecting to ftp. And I have updated the IP settings by using the "update settings" button. My firewall is disabled and I have tried it on several computers using different ISP. I am very frustrated - can anyone else use the ftp ?

I'm a complete n00b at this whole phone-unlocking business but it looks like something I might have to do. I want a k750i but by far the best deal for me is to get a contract through Vodafone. I recently found out that the Vodafone issue of this phone is heavily locked down so now I'm having second thoughts?
Is it fairly straightforward to remove all the Vodafone rubbish - is this what you guys refer to as debranding? Also, will I still be able to use the update service once I've debranded? What firmware should I use? EMEA or EU? And is it likely that DaVinci will be able to unlock the phone for use with other networks?
