On a totally different note I accidentally killed my phone this morning!
Halfway through the update my laptop died ... imagine my screams.
Resarted and tried agan and it died on me once more.
WSOD!
Grabbed SEUS installation at work and ran update to "same version" and it runs fine now. But on R1GB001 as stated before.

Man, how can you run out of power when using laptop, LOL. Before this I think updating via laptop is the safest method other than using online UPS system. You should never update any firmware without the laptop connected to the power outlet and batt fully charge.

I've seen that a lot of people in the forum have said that SEUS says there are no updates available even when there are - some people are able to update when others can't. Does anyone know why this happens?
Well not all CDA string (customization) has latest R1JG. For example provider in your country may not approved R1JG yet and as such SE will not provide it through SEUS.
I don't think wotan should made your phone can't be updated using SEUS unless you are changing it to CDA string that is not exist.

@hanugro:
Does your R1JG001 have Bahasa Indonesia T9 feature after SEUS update?
I flashed mine via Wotan to R1JC002 and I got this additional feature.

So far have no complaints about the R1JG...it did resolve my joystick issues.

It didn't run out of power, mate.
It shut down because it felt like it.
I believe it was overheated (SEUS runs at 100% CPU for a long time).
That particular laptop has been in the floor at least twice, so it's not 100% reliable

My goodness. Has anone confirm SEUS take that heavy resource on CPU? You'd better NOT doing anything critical with that laptop anymore.

Have not tried it yet! Have you not upgraded via SEUS to R1JG?
