http://www.xperiablog.net/201[....]-segment-unlikely-in-our-view/ i just saw this and what do you think? will Sony abandon the low end market or will they continue on the track like they did with Tipo and Xperia E? IF they abandon that segment would it be a bad or good idea? i think it would be bad!!
Sony always stood for quality with priceyness so it would be natural for them to (re)become sort of a elite (Apple like) brand.

I think they will still make lower end phones like the J. I'm guessing they will be ditching only the
very cheap entry level handsets.

I hope Sony is considering this technology;

I wouldn't mind paying extra 100 euros for this.

Seems like a good idea to ditch the low end. Purify the Xperia Brand

but i Heard that Tipo is really popular in Asia so the low end phones makes some money for them in some markets

I could imagine that Sony itself only sells highend devices in the future, but maybe they buy some other brand to release there low end devices. Just a guess but maybe big nonsense.

This 'bubble' tech touch keyboard is a gimmick and I very much doubt it will become mainstream tech, but more popular for blind users. There are too many hurdles for it to overcome to get to market and the usage clashes with what is (superior) current technology, like swipe keyboards.

Some pretty good leaks... Dunno if I can recap for you publicly so I will keep quiet. If RaMu says it's ok to share our info then I can inform you no problem.
@DACHA; wasn't LG's Optimus G selling point that it has a battery that looses capacity after 800 recharges unlike rest of the smartphones that endure 500 recharges?

Also LG will be incorporating a 13 megapixel camera with the Optimus G and will use a new battery technology which will offer up to 800 recharge cycles to the device as compared to 500 recharge cycles offered by most smartphone these days.
