As promised. Today at tuition sir did not come. I took the opportunity to go to my local dealer, (who has my number in his phone!) I told him i wanted the P800. He asked for a weeks time to get it. I told it is for me. (I said i will only take it in 2nd week of march.) (Of course after the bloody exams.
) he will get it fully cased incl box.(i never knew they sold 2nd hand in boxes!) I also told him max i can pay is 13k, cool. Agreed! The K500i, is officially out of stock and the K508i is out.

i have to say i agree with debu ! 4k screen is going to look like crap after using a k500's 65k color screen ! And expandable mem for what ? shitty mp3 playback when compared to the k500 and k700 !
Only advantage is that its symbian ! Parts are probably more expensive and hard to get too !

Acctually Gov, these were the thoughts of many Ex-P800 users when they got the p800. Even though I agree it was a revolutionary product and definiltely ahead of its time, its Phone side is very incomplete and the PDA side is not as good as a Palm or Pocket PC. Its a desperate attempt at a PDA-Phone and is neither par-excelence. Also unlike P9xx, it has UIQ 1.x (UIQ 2.0 runs UIQ 1.x software, not vice-versa) and hence doesn't have Themes etc. It has 12 MB Memory (RAM Shared) So Opera runs Slow (see my last post) Lots of large sites don't even load
. I have advised against the P800 before and do so yet. The P9xx are a different matter. Its better to go for a K700i or get a
Clara in March.
