am really depressed about it b
now it would be a long process getting this laptop to delhi...waiting for them to replace the whatever and paying up close to 5-7grand for that

now my folks woke up and blame me for playing online for long hrs and countious surfing am i to be blamed for this??i thought laptops work trouble free for long if used delicately and taken good care of??

(if possible) change the date of purchase on receipt and fax it to hp they will fix the error @ free.

or if u can't do that than take it to nearest hp service center they will fix that error. but u will have to pay for that.

@dhe - I think the shop has it's photocopy/carbonized COPY of the receipt pal . . . no need to alter, as the guy will be put in a darker light with the problem . . .
