just upgraded my phone yesterday via seus R1JG001.
just want to ask if my phone is hongkong version.can i change my main Firmware and firmware to china and my customization to apac?thnx

I also updated my phone today and got the new R1JG001 firmware. Anyone knows anything about it, updates, new functions etc.?

I bought my K800i 3 months ago(has nobranding and it is free for all Simcards) and between I did 2 updates now I still have the R1GB001 ,I live in Austria I just checked in SEUS R1JG001 not available,when will be possible to make the latest update per SEUS who lives in Germany,Austria and has a free K800i(nobranding,noSimlock)thank you all for the answers for question

Just to add im having exactly the same backlight problem with my k800i on Three network in the UK as others have mentioned - since I did the latest firmware update. The backlight stays on for a short time and then doesnt come back on again. If I change the brightness setting the light comes back and then goes agin as before. Any thoughts?

i got the exact problem as you. the below is the software info.

i tried to master reset the hp but it's still the same. when i did the service tests on LED/illumination, the backlight just goes off and never comes back. when someone called me, the backlight oso doesn't works. how to get this problem solved?

The only work around I have found which seems to half solve the problem is to set the brightness to 80% and that appears to work although not toally as the lgith still stays off when it powers down during writing a text for example.

I have discovered something odd however. When the backlight is inactive and a text comes through it will take the phone exactly 10 seconds to light up after the text has been received. Also, if i press a key and dont press another, it will take 10 secs for the backlight to come on...

Weird?

My R1JG001 CHINA WI with APAC file system doesn't have any problematic issue with backlight. All works normally. It may be due to 3 branded firmware which has the problem. Seeing the firmware info posted earlier, you should have gotten camera ver.2.5, EROM R3A016 and PA29 content version, if it is R1JG001 already.

same like mine, i oso having the same problem, it takes 10 sec to light up. After the light goes off, it wont be lighted up again if i press any key.
