Thox, if you can check the Vodaworld site you may find some nice deals on SE, boet. @ALL, been playing around with Opera Mini vs 6.20... Gotta tell ya, Mini is a crap load faster at loading pages, general browsing, etc. I'm using it far more often than the Symbian version, and finding it infinitely sweeter...

guys have you heard about the new motorola RAZR V3x ? if not then checkout this:
Motorola has unveiled more details on its upcoming RAZR V3x. It’s a 3G model in the form-factor of the popular RAZR. If we compare it with the ordinary RAZR, we’ll see the V3x features richer functionality.
It is equipped with 2 cameras: the one features 2-megapixel, 8x zoom, macro mode and flash; the other – VGA resolution, video call opportunity. The RAZR V3x supports AAC+, MPEG4, WMV, WMA, MP3 and Real Video/Audio, and also VoD and MoD services. Besides there is the support of 3D games and Bluetooth interface that can communicate stereo sound. The phone memory can be expanded with storage cards of TransFlash (MicroSD) format capacious up to 512 MB
The RAZR V3x is expected in 4Q 2005.

@ mario,
You probably know about this already, but the N91 is being delayed until well into Q1 2006 due to DRM software reliability issues:
http://www.mobileburn.com/news.jsp?Id=1657&source=SIDEBARHOME
About a choice of which of the 3 s60 Nokia smartphones would appeal...
I guess it depends what individual needs are...if it's full-on 3G features with video calling etc,the new slider would appeal,or...
the N91 for those not bothered with video calling but want 3G for streaming, data, etc and 4 gigs of HDD for applications,in which case I understand your obvious interest in this handset...
or the 3250. I'll go against the grain of most opinions on this site and say that I actually like the handset and see it as a viable replacement for my 7600 (spare phone)...it's quirky keypad will not be missed.
BUT price will be a determining factor; trying to 'justify' after paying so little for the sufficient-for-my-needs 7600 in the first place.
The 3250's relatively small dimensions, uniqueness and s60 capabilities are all wooing me.
I'll continue waiting for Hermione's arrival and maybe get one early next year, which will be my next 3G handset.

It's been almost a day since I've started using the LG M4410...This phone is reminiscent of similiar flip phones from the other Korean maker...lots of "toy" sounds in the phone when going through the menus- after a while it gets annoying.
Here follows a mini review of the LG M4410 which is being officially launched in Cape Town this evening...I was invited but had to turn it down due to prior appointments.
It's seems as if LG is copying Samsung because even the menu layout looks similiar to that of recent models from Samsung eg. D500.
The feel of the phone, like most recent models from other makers feels a bit too plasticky...not that I demand titanuim- just they need to ease up on all the shiny plastics.
This phone is being advertised as a music phone...ok, lets play some music. First thing I noticed while playing the minute long instrumental tracks that came with the phone is the fact that the two speakers mounted just underneath the music control buttons are so damn sh!tty...I'm not expecting a pair of B&O's but these speakers just sound bad when played loud...I'm thinking 6600- sorry Kryptik.
Ok, the W800i ( and even the much maligned ROKR can sleep easy)
So I take out the earphones from the box...plug them in but nothing happens...the phone didn't detect the earphones- how strange. I give up on that and try and do some other stuff with it.
I try to get onto my fav site...the phone comes sans internet settings so I dial up *111# hoping to get the OTA config but no, thanks to ExactMobile thoug I'm finally on my way on the mobile information highway.
Like the WirelessMonkey enthused before me the M4410 records video without sound...tough luck to all the Steven Spielberg-wannabes. There is an option of either 30s or 1min clips...damn!!
Had difficulty sending video via BT to the PC.
The phone has got EDGE, all good and well but there's not support for streaming media when EDGE does support it...again I ask, WTF?
The quality of the videos look good on screen as opposed to the K700's videos which look choppy at best.
Discovered active flip but one has to go deep into the sub-menu's to activate the function.
The screen display is vivid...just looking at it I want to start taking pictures.
Using the phone I get a sense that LG included Bluetooth as a mere gimmick to entice people who may have suspected that their phones were lacking. Operating the BT though is not as seamless as say in SE or Nokia phones...here it can become tedious...for instance connecting to the PC is a chore..with an SE- from experience- it's done in perhaps two simple moves.
