i cant recall another phone model ever taking over 10 Months to be released from the date it was announced.

Just as I predicted, it will be a while before we get our hands on versions the networks are prepared to support. The phones on the market now will be packets of trouble destined for the middle east were the networks are unreliable anyway and quality of service is not the operators number 1 concern. The Euro networks will get feed back from there first and tell the manufacturers to sort out this and that before we get them.
