@Aya: How come I forgot you are a system administrator who make a bundle from the web:-) N1,750 shouldn't bother you.
@Bennie: I've received and downloaded it, but haven't been able to get it to work.
@Mamba: I agree with you on the Vmobile GPRS offering. Please lets have the mms configurations as soon as you unravel them.
The operamini does not open, probably because I haven't been able to assign a gprs profile for java downloads. I use a T610 not K700i. Where do I find the settings for java?

i'm using the opera mini on my k700i and i heard from reliable sources that it also works on t610.
this app is the best java i've used so far, it's wonderful...
who says Vmobile wap is slow?
4 ur info, it's blazing fast to the extent that i can't keep up, maybe cos it's not yet crowded as MTN and unannounced..
i have only 2 handsets and have relegated my glo line for now, it's Vmobile and MTN for now till 30th

You all seem to be having a party. Are you aware that there is no info about GPRS WAP on the vmobile website? Well, enjoy the freebies. Right now, I have 3 free channels to the Net: Starcomms, MTN, and Vmobile.
As for those Glodirect bundle packages, they are not competitive with CDMA data tariffs at all! I'm better off with Starcomms, and Glo simply as backup.
My Starcomms data counter shows that I have used 244mb of data in 5 days of browsing. On the Glo bundle plans, that's between N48,000 and N67,000! In 5 days??!! WHEN I AM NOT MAD! GPRS is great for light internet surfers. I am no longer in that category

Finally! Something to convince people that I'm not such a hot-shot as some people have made me out to be
@mamba: Since you don't know what you did

, obviously there's no way for the rest of us to share this breakthrough:-(

Hi fellas,
Try using the Vmobile IP address as IP for proxy on your web browser. Port should be 8080. I did this before with another cellular network...
