What's the point of knowing the new features of the firmware if you don't know when it's out.

Well i am going to try again, but i have two questions:

1) Is it recommended to perform a master reset after flash?
2) Is there a way to get updated via Sony Ericsson Swedish website, for example, instead of chosing my coutry website (Belgium).

your welcome.

Its worth knowing this also, because often when we punk S//E for hurrying up releasing new firmwares to fix some problems, it may in many many cases not be S//E's fault that its not released yet, but simply caused by network providers delaying the process because they are slow to make the approval. The firmware itself may have been ready for quite some time.

Ill test it and get back asap

Good point, it can be a relief to know for certain that a problem has been fixed and you just need to wait for the firmware to be available , but it can also be a pain to know this in the waiting time

no, there are only one and the same SEUS server, all regional websites updatepage links to the same server. Only difference is the language of the website your looking at. Once you select to update it contacts the same SEUS server.

master reset after flash is not needed after a normal flash, its only adviced if you experience any problems or strange behaviours and only as last resort as you will lose everything on the phone, both data and settings. I've never needed to do a master reset on any of my many S//E phones yet, but Ive generally also been lucky and almost havent experienced any problems at all.

I have a plain k750i. Went to the norwegian SE site. Updated with SEUS. Think I had R1L before. Maybe it has something to do with that?

Tested the low volume playing music.

Visible difference:
From mute it only takes one nutch of the volumebutton to go one full volumestable on the display, from there on it goes in halfsteps, taking 2 nutches on the volumebutton pr. visible volumestable

Audible difference:
Difficult to describe, as we may hear things differently, but it sounds to me as if the one nutch/one volumestable from mute, increase audible soundlevel the same level as 2 nutches/one full volumestable on the rest of the scale. Going from mute to the first nutch/stable increase sound to a degree where its just possible to hear it.
It is low, I dont think its possible to decrease soundlevel further without muting it completely. I would say that to lower it further and still be able to make it out as music and not just a litle static, you would need to have very good ears.
But I cant say for sure if its different from your experience with your current firmware versus the previous, as Ive never tested this specific thing before.

Not much to go on, but hope it gives an idea anyways

#general observations

Have had several calls on the mobile today and can definately confirm my first impression that inspeaker sound level during calls are much improved.

Another thing I noticed:
People dont get your hopes up to high by this, but I have a feeling that reception quality is also improved slightly. In my livingroom there are several dead spots where I usually completely lose reception during calls. But during my calls today I have walked around in these dead spots and not lost reception once. Could be just coincidense, no scientific evidence, and it may be crap again in an hour, but I have a feeling of slight improvement of receptionquality.

Numb, I hope you're right about the low volume because I have always found the lowest volume to be too high for my poor ears...

I hope they fixed my bluetooth problem: when using a hbh-300 or a hbh-608 (I have not tested others), when I disconnect the headset, the java apps then can't load anymore, and sometimes I have black squares in the menu instead of the icons... I have to turn off/on the phone to get rid of this. So really, if this firmware doesn't fix this, it's back to the service center, and they'd better give me a new one in less than 2 months (like last time)!

Havent tested with the HBH-300 or HBH-608, but havent had any problems using my Logitech BT headset on R1N035 firmware, and never experienced java apps not being able to start after BT disconnect, or black squares in the menu instead of icons.

The BT problems with HBH-xxx sounds firmware related, but the rest, especially the black squares sounds strange :-/

Well, it's real though... I also have trouble with the voice recognition, I don't use voice dial anymore since it doesn't work... The headsets are fine with my T610 so it's definitely a problem with the K750i and its R1N035 firmware...

Hi; a couple of questions here...:

1) Would you recommend updating from 'original' R1L002 to this new one?

2) About BlueTooth transfers... when you send files from the Computer, can you set the phone to never ask and automatically accept them, or maybe ask only once for a batch of files? But no like in R1L002 where you'd have to confirm every file.

I know that in R1N035 it got fixed, but in which of the two ways I wrote about works? Never asking, or asking only once for a batch?

Thanks.
