CES? There's hope for SD820!
Z5C appears to be thicker because the frame is thicker, glass is not sticking out.

it's say early 2016 , so it's not possbile for z5 series. sd810 have 1250-1300 @single core and 4300-5000 @multicore , if they improve single core with %35 percent , it means sd820 will have 1700-1750 score @single core or if they improved @multicore , it will have 6000 scores @multicore(this point sd820 could have 1900-2000
scores@single core).
530 gpu will be such a beast improvement over 430 with %40.
SD810 is more like 1250/4400, it never got close to 5000. There's a rumor that 820 scored 1800/4900. In geekbench database there's some weird test of 3-core version running on iOS scoring 1811/4519:

Interesting thing. Qualcomm prepares Snapdragon 620 processor as well, it's a member of smartphone 600 series (800 processors were meant for tablets) which means lower power consumption and less heat. Despite that it scores impressive 1500/4900 (Qualcomm is playing with codes, 8952 is 8xA53 SoC while A53 will never score more than 1000):

Both results are significantly better than 810, I wish Sony used it in Z5 instead of 810.
This GPU tough... Adreno 430 is already mightly GPU, 530 seems to be a proper beast.

From the sides the Z5C looks more appealing (at least for me) than its predecessor. It is also quite a bit thicker than the Z5 which gives the rumor of OIS more weight.
Compacts have always been thicker, plus Sony said they'll introduce OIS in a year or two, not a few months. Besides, I'm not a fan of OIS, it ruins all videos. iP6+ somehow turns it off and relies on digital stabilization while shooting videos.

Did anyone noticed? Z5c looks like it's using the tube concept design

Yeah. It looks a lot tougher. I'm pretty excited about it's launch, my contract is up late September.

it's already confirmed sd620 have 4*1,8 ghz a72 cores and 4*1,2ghz a53 cores , so scores are possible for it(geekbench uses lowest core frequency , so 1440 mhz is a bit of suspicious i agree ).
https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/620
and i mean highest band for sd810
http://browser.primatelabs.co[....]=qualcomm&sort=multicore_score
i agree z5c looks definitly different then z5 , it uses tube design concept.

@kurtdean
Yep I told you On the previous page. Tube design is coming guess next year Sony will bring the sexy back

. One more glitch, make the frame silver as the power button. I won't mind a gray color option for the front and back with gunmetal frames. O_o
By the way, I have contacted a very high executive from Sony via Linkedin about the Ultra. He said he'll look into it and thanked me. Hope he took it seriously.
Eventhough I am an Ultra user. I might go with the Z5C until a successor arrives. The white version would look astonishing.

...z5 is confirmed for q4 launch. 1h of 2016 will most likely have a new main flag (z5+/z6 or maybe a new ultra if a new ultra does not launch this year) with mwc announcement as traditionally made by sony. hiyu mentioned what he mentioned long ago therefore it is irrelevant.

By the way, where are the insiders? I just want to know what the hell is E6833. Could it be a bond phone? I don't think Sony axed it. But 5.5" is concerning.
