If the phones in some areas cost much more than the price they sell in North America, Western Europe and Eastern Asia, aren't they supposed to earn a very good money per unit like Apple?

XA 2016 = $192
XA1 = $ 440
XA1+ = $ 576
XA1U = $631
XZ1 = $1042
XZP = $1097

No Xperia 2018 is available yet.


They just decide to do same of others. Best selfie of Samsung ( A8/A8+), Asus ( zen4 selfie Pro), Motorola ( G6 will have 16MP, while Z3 series will have 8MP) . All midranges.

Agreed. Like I said to Spek earlier, we'll have to wait to see if any of his info pans out, and we have been burned by many "insiders" before, but on the surface he seems like he's trying to be honest with us. He's supporting his arguments with evidence, so just for now I say give him the benefit of the doubt.

The P20 Pro was much too tinny. The S9+ was easily the loudest. I was trying to figure out whether the S9+ or XZ2 was better on the clarity front, but the limited musical selection and the relatively crappy mic used in the review made it hard to judge.

That's because no one buys their phones. Yes, they have an average selling price that is high, but there are so many unsold phones that have been shipped and other problems too, they could lose so much money from that.

From what I've known, ASP = revenue divided by the number of units shipped, so they earned so much because of how high the phones are priced and most people that buys a Sony phone, were high-end products.
