Yup. Same here. APAC CHINA W1. Also have the screen dimming out in the middle of texting. Although when I press any key, the screen lights up agian instantly and not after 10 secs like the others.
Should've stuck with R1G. Sheesh...

Nats I have this problem since R1G.... and obviously R1J didn't fix it

i just updated my firmware to R1JG001. I encounter a problem in text message. I cant change the writing option to NUMBERS ONLY and when i hold #, nothing happens.
I update my firmware in sony ericsson site, by using their update service

As I said before in this forum, SEUS is part update. You may need full reflash of firmware if your firmware is corrupted.
Also you may not have all the certificate needed to run Java games/apps. You can try to install the needed certificate to see if it fixes your problem. Look at Setting-Security-Certificate-Java Certificate, you should have at least GeoTrust CA for UTI, Tahwte Premium Server CA, Verisign Class 3

You can change to numbers and abc in text input, had the same in my k610 after the update, all you have to do is to go to settings, input languages and tick the boxes with 123 and abc, which get unticked for some reason

writing option to numbers only works fine in my phone with R1JG

That's weird. I still can change to NUMBERS only or abcd only when I hold # button. It works on me...
