there seem to be minor problems with his new f/w so i think they have not come out with it for the k790i which is good in a way!!!

i hope all these issues are resolved and a new bug free version is released

You can change to numbers and abc in text input, had the same in my k610 after the update, all you have to do is to go to settings, input languages and tick the boxes with 123 and abc, which get unticked for some reason

thanks for the help

it is not a bug...do like dapostolidis said and it will work

Go to Settings-> Language -> Writing Language -> and tick the box beside 123...-> Save

Now when you write a new message press long # and you will be able to select 123...

It is not a bug...you will have to learn how to use your K800i

just noticed that on R1JG, if i remove the battery for longer than an hour from the phone, when i turn the phone back on, the time is not updated. for example if i remove the battery at 2200 hours, and put it back in maybe 5 hours later, the time would remain at 22++ hours. not too problematic though..

BTW, has anyone noticed the phonebook entry duplication bug that i mentioned earlier?

It happened also in R1ED001...I think it is normal

nothing about phonebook entry duplication...I don't have such a bug

Stuggling to keep up with the posts. Can anyone confirm if an unbranded/debranded UK handset can be updated on SEUS with the R1J firmware yet?

Cheers,

Lee

Sky Hi Posts: 106

Few weeks ago I mentioned about a crash I had in my k800 while transferring a great number of games from the device to the M2, which resulted in not being able to open the games and apps folders anymore. Reflashed the f/w through SEUS: nothing. Waited for JG001 to flash it, hoping the problem might be solved, flashed it: nothing. Went to the final solution: SE service center, where they made a total flash (lost data etc) with JG001 in just a few hours! The best of all is that the phone was debranded! And all these for free, since the phone is still in its guarantee! Wotan like service for free!!
Now the phone works fine (until the next bug?). SE service centers in Greece kick!
