It looks like this is what the Z and ZL will compete with.
The HTC M7 has rumoured specs of a 4.7-inch display (1080p Super LCD3), 1.7Ghz quad-core processor( same processor as in Z/ZL just clocked higher), 2GB of RAM, 16-64GB of internal storage, 13MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera and a 2300mAh battery.
And it will come with an IR blaster.
The design doesn't even come close to the beautiful Sony design of the Z and ZL and the specs are almost identical.
The original render, and a tweaked mock-up of what it may look like with the screen turned on.

Good question! It has always been a big thing in Japan but not globally. I think because Sony has it HTC is doing the same so the phones have the same features.

And if Band 7 is 2600 Mhz, then it means that Xperia Z in fact isn't the first world wide enabled 4G phone.

This Phone is really ugly :S I Hope for HTC´S Case this isn´t a real Device..

The only thing I liked about the phone is the stereo speakers, if the above and below grill are meant for that!!
