Nah. It was more like:-

5am, Tues 26th "ooooh I'm tired, think I'll turn the pc off and get some sleep". Turns pc off with no problems.
13:10pm Tues 26th "think I'll check my emails before I go to work" switches pc on. Hard drive starts to click a few times then get a message saying that the computer could not start because the system 32 files were either corrupt or were missing. "oh fcuk" I said (also realised that I should have been at work at 7am for an extra shift and did'nt put it in my diary). Made a call to my mate who builds pc's. Told him about it and he said to take it across to him and he will look at it when he has the time. He called me today and said that everything had been wiped which is nearly impossible unless you go into the filesystem (or summit) and manually delete them. Something which I've not done. He said that it may be possible for someone to access the pc from the internet and do it through the remote access feature in XP. I did'nt have this enabled either so I don't know whats happened.

Andy.. you should of used cheque payment, waited till it cleared

Thanks Kerry. Think I'll only be using Paypal to pay for my own things from now on. If people want to buy from me then they will have to send a cheque. Will give me a bit longer to get things packed and ready as well I suppose.

Defrag is set to run twice a week and disc cleanup is used before defrag is run. Also have Norton Internet Security/Anti Virus installed and set to full system scan twice a week. I know how to set a pc up and can work my way around it but as for everything else I have'nt got a clue. Still learning. Not had one for long.
The pc I'm on now has the exact same setup and so far nothing has happened.
