Dammit! This bloody Pom weather!I'm busy braaing in the back yard,as I do most Saturdays, and the heavens have opened up again!
Da Wanqsta must've looked a sight dragging the wheeled braai, coals ablaze, under the large gazebo...fortunately the coals are ready, otherwise I would've been concerned about burning a 'sky-roof' in the top of the gazebo, and then not being very popular with Mrs. A!
Boerewors, sosaties and 'roosterbroodjies' to braai and this weather is so damn unpredictable today.
Anyway,better get back outside again.
Now where's the Mrs Balls that I bought this morning...

Friends have brought a salad which looks very much like 'imifino'...I must be homesick again.

@ Tasha,
Welcome aboard!

@Wanksta, lekker!! I existed on roosterbrood this past week in Haarlem, especially lekker making them on the top of the wood-stove whilst playing dominoes at night. @ALL, MTN's really whack lately... It's an app that lets you browse conventional web pages, as well as wapsites, etc... Which phone are you using, Tash? This message was posted from a Nokia

@ Tasha, I'm in the United Kingdom, hence 'Pom' weather.

The various reasons why the British are nicknamed 'Poms' or 'Pommies' can be found here:

http://www.worldwidewords.org/qa/qa-pom1.htm
or
http://www.snopes.com/language/acronyms/pommy.htm

Whereabouts are you in SA?

@ brix,
Where's your last post's text,or are you lost for words?

It's bucketing down in Cape Town this evening and I decided to come home instead of picking up stray pussycats at my favourite bar.
