Does anyone know how the WIFI software will work on P990? I my opinion, one of the main reasons for switch-over from P910 to P990 is to talk cheaper via VoIP (SKYPE or something similar). The software should be able to offer me to speak via VoIP first, if WIFI is available

Flip is definitely removable. I, for one, will remove the flip just like I am doing that now for my P910i. Too bad esato doesn't provide a P910 avatar without the flip. Thus I have to make do with this one I'm using now.

Not sure if this has been posted, but I have spoken to a mate in the CPW who has advised that the SE rep that visited had advised a mid Feb release of this phone (P990) along with the W900 at the same time.

http://katching.se/ (can make a preorder, $ 810) they expect to get it February 28 but that can be changed of course. But this is in Sweden and "we" mostly get it on the market quite early compared to other countries:-)

Im hoping its the same as the W900i, and not the same as the K750i. It would be stupid of SE not to give the phone this, especially since its a superior device to the W900i.

It will never happen....the UIQ is still in beta testing not scheduled to be finished until Jan...so the phone wont come out till at least March, maybe even later!
