@freworld. Know what if you can't handle criticizm then you can't develop..on the contrary you should be happy and thank me for covering your so many potholes. And i can very well see how you "don't care" about my post by seeing the length of your reply to it. And regarding speeds then let me tell you that it depends a lot on number of users hooked on to Gprs in the area.. And which in your case implies that there aren't may people.. So the only conclusion i derive is that you live in some inhabited trivial area..(with you being one of its residents.. I hope you understand what those big words mean.. )

please please please...100 times tell me how to get the bsnl free gprs trick working on my phone. i am from bareilly (north zone)
i have got gprs activated but i am being charged for surfing .
i got it activated your way, without any application.
since i have only had it today i dont know anything about mms working or not
once i have got it activated what should i do.
also please specify that what is in it that clicks it.
i mean what is the difference in your method and usual gprs activation.
in my area we do not require to file an application. although one of my friends got it that way.
i got it activated by repeated customer care complaints so much so that he even called once to my home
are you using bsnl's settings.
please tell me the correct latest settings.
i apologise for the slightest pain that may occur out of you typing to me but please understand that i need it very urgently
my phone is samsung v200 but when i smsd my phone model as nokia 6600 to 8354 it tweeked my phone just fine to wap and i was able to access gprs
it would be a great favour to me if you could help it getting done
my phone has only the following options and current settings
profile name bsnlwap
homepage
security non secure
ip address 10.132.194.196
user name
password
bearer /gprs
apn wapnorth.cellone.in
and so on. in mms and all only wapnorth is changed to mms north
but
homepage url is http:10.132.194.197:8002
ip address is 10.10.1.100
please tell me if these mms settings are correct because these were the settings that the network configured considering i have a nokia 6600
please help me and release from burden that is looting me 10p/5kb

Hey guys! Help be pl.
i was using BSNL portal quite long time but was unable to use full GPRS. Thanks to this forum i was able to activate and was using full GPRS (off course i was paying) on my NOKIA 3120 in North zone Rajasthan since 3 months.
past 20 days or so my GPRS got shut down without reasons or intimations.
i tried everything including sending GPRSPRE to 3733 for reactivation in case it might have shut off. they replies that GPRS is already provisioned for my no. then thinking of cell problem i change my Cell to NOKIA 6070 with no results.
i downloaded settings again and again on this new cell with no outcomes.
can anybody help me. what i shall do to reactivation? Call center and local BSNl guys are useless as usual. At this moment im using NOKIA 6070 north zone BSNL prepaid with GPRS activated but not working now;

it seems nothing more to me than dat ur area has some problem in gprs workin
!!
try using gprs on some1 else's mobile with his sim only!!!
those which had workin gprs !!!
if its so,,dat is if its normally workin on a different sim in ur area only,,
then may be there is some problem at higher level!!!
u need to got the nearst main gsnl office ( customer care node
)
and do give a long compplint,, written,,, to the ehad there!!
even its beter if u meet hima nd tell him also abt some other fake probs at ur place!!

@gaumesi, are you using prepaid.? if so one cause may be due to your balance may hav fallen below a minimum amount some 20 days before.

thanks for prompt reply frns, i asked some frnds here they said GPRS is working for them. yes im on prepaid. and yes my gprs had shutdown after i used with low balance. but i have re charged it many times later but it never get reactivated.
can anyone suggest more Rx on this problem. yes, i'm filing a written application and will meet local BSNL authorities. lets see.. meanwhile diagnosis jaari hai!
btw, this is only active thread on intrnet for any bsnl gprs problem. dhany ho! lage raho!
