everytime i try up update i get this message
Incompatible Macromedia version.
Required version available from
http://www.macromedia.com.
Application will terminate.
so seus wont load up...
and yes i have the latest version of flash player
I think that the latest version of Flash needs to be installed on IE. So if you as many of us runs Firefox you might need to check if IE has the latest ver as well.

Hi,
I've just updated my P990 with the latest firmware and now I can't install any applications.
I've tried:
1) Master Reset > reinstall firmware update > install app
2) Master Reset > reinstall firmware update > Master Reset > install app
Both fail with "Unknown Error"
When I try to restore the backup, I get errors in installing 3rd party applications.
Has this happened to anyone? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

that sounds very odd man

. are you close to a service center? if so, it is better if you send it there for repairs.

Jah - Thanks for the tip, it worked!
I pulled the duo card, updated the firmware, formatted the memory card, then reinstlled the backup. I can now install apps.
Thanks again

The new firmware is doing just great I think! I love this phone. By the way, I figured out why my connections log wasn't showing (I was just temporarily an idiot).
So when is the firmware that gives us push e-mail going to come out? I thought it would be pretty soon since that is one of the things SE is supposedly offering with this phone. Anyone heard anything?

What do you mean by Push e-mail?
Exchange ActiveSync client can be downloaded från SE website.
I saw a link in some forum to the Blackberry-client that was offered on an operators homepage (i think).
IMAP Idle is supported out of the box.

Finally managed to get my phone updated, went without a hitch.
Havent really noticed anything new with this firmware although it seems alot more stable and the mem management to me, seems better now.
Great stuff SE, keep the firmwares coming
