Hmm, I seem to have less free ram at startup after this update. Anybody else with this? I have around 1 to 2 MB ram less now after the latest update. Not sure if it has anything to do with SMP, but that is the only thing I have changed on my phone right now

How could it take your memory after startup? You can check the amount without even running SMP. Or do you mean memory reclaim by SMP is less efficient now than it was? In any case, we need more reliable data on this.

You could do the following:
1 - restart phone in FC, do not run SMP
2 - display Main menu, then go back to Standby
3 - check RAM with More/Status repeatedly until it does not change at all (may take minutes!)
4 - record the last, non-changing value
5 - start SMP in FC, then put it to background
6 - again check RAM with More/Status
7 - compare to previous value

The above process, if you do it precisely, will give you the amount of RAM that SMP uses. It is around 0.4-0.5 MB. Anything you experience before item 5 above is not related to SMP.

It seems like the SMP only takes up 0.6 MB on my phone. But I cant understand why my ram is less now? I have not changed anything at all and not added anything new. Maby I have to do it all over again from the start. Anyway, thx Lisa
