another question... what do I need?

in the K750_RED49_rest.rar which file do I choose? I'm assuming a EU version (English European?)

R1A, R1B, R1C, R1D?

also... he says " If this is the first time you flash your phone you will need to install the Flash drivers I posted further up."

How do I install the flash drivers? just drag the file into the cards file? if so which?

**also, does it matter if I'm running Linux and not Windows-pos OS?**

I downloaded all the files and cannot get anything that looks like the XS++ program to open... is this the result of a Linnux OS? I was hoping to flash her tonight, but looks like that is down the drain... What am I doin wrong here boys?

@FlawedLegacy: i think you dont need the rest file. you just need the MAIN, FS and custom(and of course the xs++).

if you want to install the usb driver:

-turn off your phone
-press and hold C key on the phone
-plug in the usb cable to the phone(DCU-60)
-a new hardware will be found. then install the drivers you've download.

@joneyme: it's better to use the MAIN and FS from w610. it's not good to have just a part from the firmware.

I've tried this, and my W880i connects successfully (gives data like IMEI etc) - but - to proceed I have to select the 'CDA' and the choices here are limited to India, South Asia, Middle East/North Africa and Arab Emirates...

Why is there no Europe etc? Any Idea?

I would like to kill the camera sound and operator logo f.i.

The software is already updated via SE download manager.

PS: no nagging about any credits here BTW. But the only folder Wotanclient made is a 'Version' folder with the files 'version.txt' and 'version.zip' (which includes another 'version.txt')
