I'd say its 1 GB internal plus 8 GB flash memory included. 9 GB flash drives don't exist as was pointed out. Either that or it was a typo?

Just a guess, but could be 1 gb onboard (or memory card) and 8 gb memory card (or onboard). so you have an extra that is swappable.

for MOOI, I agree with the others, 9 GB is more likely to be 8GB maybe the extra GB will come from a MS.
