Hey Plank,
Yeah your right, goodbye to my Innov8 .....
Goodbye to my 16GB of Internal memory and my 16GB of expandable SD card memory... Goodbye to my Divx player and TV out, goodbye to my 16M color 2.8" display, goodbye to my video player and video editor, my stereo speakers, my 3.5mm audio jack, office, voip (skype & fring), etc, etc....
And hello to your crappy & ugly plastic designed c905 with a ricketdy slider that's already wearing grooves in the frame among many other defaults.
Anyhow, I'm over mine is better than yours...
With all your posts on this board sounds like your already bored with your phone, I'm not and this will be my last post on this subject.
P.S. That's perfect, instructing someone to upgrade their brand new phone to a better firmware.... typical SE!!! No wonder they're going bankrupt

I use both the i8510 and the C905 and have to say that it's swings and roundabouts.
My i8510 screen is full of dust (it gets in via the switch on the top right) and that is REAL ANNOYING. They all seem to do it, sooner or later. It has a tendancy to slow down a lot when you're using SMS, and the current firmware has all sorts of issues with remembering settings and losing email (literally losing email AND the account settings). Samsung are yet to issue any updates, whereas I'm currently installing the new firmware for the C905 this evening (and I didn't even have any serious issues on the phone that I knew about!!).
The C905 is more 'pick up and go' and easier to use - and still very powerful. The i8510 (innov8) takes better photos, but it doesn't have a very good flash. The C905 is inferior in sharpness and detail, but let's not kid ourselves that it is bad - it's not, but the Samsung IS better. You cannot dispute that. Video is also better on the Samsung, but the camera interface on the C905 is good and it's quick to start up.
However, it's the C905 I'm currently using! Lovely as S60 is (and the Samsung is better than any Nokia S60 phone in my opinion - especially with the Samsung-exclusive camera interface that is far better than Nokia's), I like the SE interface and the look and feel of the phone.
I really can't stand getting into a slagging match, because each phone has the same camera but a range of other differences that make them nearly impossible to compare.

Sounds like you're NOT over it, but for my purposes the C905 is better then your Innov8, I'm glad the Innov8 is better for your purposes, more power to you. I maybe would have purchased the Innov8 if it didn't completely blow it by not including a real flash. What's the point of 3, 5 or 8 MP if you don't have an adequate flash to go along with it? Plus every review I've seen shows that its exposure is generally to short. Having said that, please go troll somewhere else.
PS C905 also allows VOIP and has SIP.

I don't think the C905 needs to be flashed to anything. The picture quality is fantastic on my firmware RIBA038. The earier firmware Fontaine uses for example, R1AA083, is listed at Davinci, but not listed when you open the client! So no flashing to that earlier one anyway.
The argument I keep hearing is that the C902 for example, is sharper. Yes it is. Far too sharp for my tastes! The edges don't look natural sometimes when blown up, and there is a loss of detail with this type of over-sharpening. I think the C905 sharpness is spot on, with a natural look and no detail loss, and certainly very little noise compared to the likes of C902.
Plus who's to say that firmware had no bugs? No one can tell because the
general public never had it. My phone is really stable, and gives great pics. what more could I ask for?
