This maybe Samsung's first phone to get so many rave reviews.
CNET.com says its
outstanding.
Wallstreet Journal which has been very tough on Samsung says its

The New York Times calls it a glimpse of

These are three tough cookies and they not only endorse the Note 4 but give it high marks and view the iPhone 6 plus as second to the Note 4.
It does not get better than that.
So the gap is non-issue then? Cool.
cheers!

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Review: Far More To Offer Than Apple's iPhone 6 Plus
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been my phone of choice for the last year. I’ve used a lot of other, like the LG G3, which I’ve also loved. But I’ve ended up back on the Note 3 every time. That, to me, is the best indication that the Note range is perfectly designed for my needs.
So who should consider a Note 4? Well, my first advice would be that if you have a Note 3, the upgrade is going to be small for you. You’ll get a better screen, nicer design and some nice health and fitness tools, but it’s not a revolution – more an evolution. So those on two-year contracts shouldn’t fret if they’re going to have to stick with the Note 3 for another year.
But for those looking to go down a new route, switch from an iPhone or smaller Android, is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 worth it?
Spoiler: yes, without doubt.
I picked up my Note 4 last Friday, and had an initial look at it. The first thing I noticed was that the design is a modest update, but it does leave the phone looking fresh. My Note 3 is the same colour – white – so the comparison between both is easy to make. I had no problem with the style of the Note 3, in my mind it was a significant upgrade from the cheaper, less interesting looking Note 2. But the Note 4 takes things to a new level, with its new shape, better materials and a much toned-down “leather” effect on the rear case.
Better than the iPhone 6 Plus, really?
Honestly, I’m not a believer in “better” when it comes to different devices, from different manufacturers running different operating systems. Even so, the Note has some features that clearly make it more attractive for some than Apple’s latest iPhone. For example, the screen resolution is...

This is the first time I am seeing so many critics give the Note series blessings over the iPhone. The iPhone has been behind the curve since at least last years Note 3 but the critics probably didn't take "note" of the Samsung's phablet. I won't buy the Note 4 as I don't see it as a big upgrade but it sure does seem a worthy successor.

Hi all, I don't want to cause a fuss but if you all recap to the gap issue on the Note 4, well today I've recieved my store stock and demo handset and the first thing I checked was for any gaps with in the units and on the first 2 I opened there is a decent sized gap on the phone, one at the top which is very noticable and one at the bottom but no where near as bad. However though the rest of the device is stunning to say the least except the loudspeaker at full volume sounds very tinny and distorted when watching the pre-loaded videos, however though the phone is so loud you probably won't need it at full volume.
If anyone is planning on getting this stunning peice of kit over the weekend or so please check the phone out in-store before you buy.

^Good to hear, hopefully this is an isolated issue. Personally if I was after one I'd get it from a store just to check it out before you buy. Oh and congrats on a fantastic phone, it's awesome.
