aussieland - news from a week ago said XZP will be released MAY 22 in the UK. so preorders should be available by now if they are going to be available. the 1st week of june delivery on clove has been there since. it might not be updated. I'm hoping to get mine the week of the 22nd .. hopefully by the 24th/25th on my doorstep

I can't believe XZP is beating the S8 effortlessly here.
The photos look like they were edited to benefit Sony but I don't really know.

I agree the motion eye is doing very well against competitors. every comparison i've seen, the sony is killing it on video quality and being on par or better in most cases for still photos. i'm surprised so many review sites can confidently say the motion eye isn't as good as the S8 or iphone... it just doesn't add up to me.


So.. with the XZP coming in the next few weeks, it's time to think about protecting those glass surfaces! what to do? I haven't done any real searching yet to see if anything is even available, but I definitely don't think i want a full on case. I'm thinking screen protector type things for both sides? What are you guys thinking to do for yours?

Thank you moogoo. I dint trust unlocked mobile to be honest , I will most likely wait for Amazon and carphonewarehouse.. As you said it shouldn't be too long now ! I cant wait to ser the motion eye in real life - I like the concept of taking quick photos as soon as camera app is opened . Hopefully quality will still be good. As it sounds like you will be getting yours first it will be interesting to read your opinions first

aussieland - yea i didn't quite trust unlocked mobiles either. that's why i went with clove.

XJ - i thought you already got your first hands on? or did i misread. well definitely give us your impressions!

Kurtdean - i don't speak but i used the youtube subtitles with autotranslates... the guy seems to say what i suspected, and that is the game seems choppy because of the framerate of the camera recording the show. but i'm probably wrong haha..
