Thank you! That worked like a charm. Updated to R2L with no problems at all.

Everyone with an O2 branded phone, just do what I did and use Total Multiserver to de-brand it! I de-branded it and loaded the R2L firmware on it then went to the update service and the update service loaded a different version of the unbranded R2L. The phone works like it should, and I have none of the bugs people are saying with the white screen and phone resets.

Currently on
R2L001
prgCXC125821_EU_1_C
CUSTOMISATION
XCX1258 r2L001 eU_1
have tried to use the update service only to be told no update for my operator? the phone is unbranded
have checked the log and it looks like the update service is not working because it cant find my CDA number?
Any ideas on what it means and how to solve it
cheers

Update My Orange K700i to R2L had no problems and took less than 20 mins from start to finish. Well impressed.
It doesnt remove those silly icons on the front screen. But hey I got used to them now and sort of miss them (oh my god what am i saying)
Any way, The battery is improved greatly and I have noticed a increase in speed on SMS typing, gprs and scrolling in phone book. Its as quick as nokias now.
Still somethings could be better tho. We will have just to wait and see for the next one.

it works perfectly tho, just is a curious blend of R2A and R2L
i aint complainin bout it just like it all to match
still say fingers up to o2 and their policy of ignoring their customers wishes

Darn it, when's

gonna upload the r2aa on their online service? Am really getting impatient bout this and am considering the totalserver option.
